About me
My name is Yolanda Casás and I am a translator specialised in audiovisual and fashion. My working languages are English and French, from which I translate into my mother tongues, Spanish and Galician.
I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo and I was trained in audiovisual translation by a Master’s Degree in Multimedia Translation at the same university. My passion for languages and discovering other cultures led me to spend a year of my studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
I have always loved cinema and I felt curious about the world of fashion, so I decided to study both disciplines and combine them with my greatest passion at a professional level, translation. My expertise in these fields has enabled me to collaborate on audiovisual translation projects for TV channels and video-on-demand platforms, as well as translating technical and training content for a leading Spanish multinational company within the textile industry.
